Research & Education Services

Programs

Research and Education Services consists of programs that focus on the identification, assessment and prevention of occupational and environmental illnesses and injuries affecting Oregonians.

We conduct surveillance on reportable environmental illnesses and targeted occupational injuries and diseases, and provide information and education on preventive strategies to manage environmental health risks for the public and health providers. Our mission is to improve the safety and health status of all Oregonians.

What We're Doing

  • Partnering with industry, labor, researchers, state and federal agencies as the Occupational Public Health Program (OPHP) to share data, find trends in workplace injuries, and implement prevention strategies.
