Reduces exposure to hazardous substances present in Oregon's environment
description
EHAP's goal is to evaluate and prevent exposure to hazardous substances from industrial waste sites, unplanned releases of toxic substances, and other sources of pollution present in Oregon's environment. As part of the evaluation of a hazardous waste site, EHAP examines the risk of adverse human health effects associated with such exposures and educates the community on how to reduce or prevent exposures.
