WISEWOMAN (Well-integrated Screening and Evaluation for Women Across the Nation), aims to reduce cardiovascular and other diseases by promoting early detection, risk factor screening, risk reduction and access to medical treatment for low-income, uninsured and underinsured women aged 40 to 64. To participate, women must be receiving screening services through the Oregon Breast and Cervical Cancer Program.

Training Resources (for WISEWOMAN provider sites only)
Various training resources including the WISEWOMAN (WW) Program Manual and the required WISEWOMAN forms are available online for both new provider sites and new staff at our existing provider sites.
Oregon WISEWOMAN Program Manual
The Oregon WISEWOMAN (WW) Program Manual provides guidance for policies, procedures, program requirements and recommendations for providers with current Medical Services Agreements (MSA) with the Oregon WW program.
Oregon WISEWOMAN (WW) Clinical Guidelines
The Oregon WISEWOMAN (WW) Clinical guidelines are an advisement document for providers with current Medical Services Agreements (MSA) with the Oregon WW program. It provides guidance for direct clinical services funded by the WW program.
Client Education Materials
My Health Information is provided to clients to record the results of their WW screening tests. Illustrations provide clients with an easy way to interpret if their personal test results are considered in the normal, abnormal or alert range. Tips on leading a healthy lifestyle are also included.

Community Resources is provided to clients with information and resources geared towards smoking cessation, healthy eating and physical activity.

Oregon Resident (Lives or intends to live in Oregon)

Are you a woman at least 40 years old and not older than 64 years old?

Are you already participating in Oregon's Breast and Cervical Cancer Program?

Are you either uninsured or underinsured?
- Uninsured: you do not have health insurance.
- Underinsured: you have health insurance, but not enough to cover your needs.
What Services are Available?
Services include a family medical history, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), cholesterol, and glucose tests.
