In Oregon, WIC is part of the Department of Human Services (DHS), Public Health Division, Office of Family Health, Nutrition and Health Screening Program. Oregon WIC participants receive nutrition education along with vouchers to buy specific foods from WIC-authorized vendors throughout Oregon.

WIC Authorized Food List

The WIC Food List shows which foods you can sell to WIC clients.

WIC Vendor Advisory Council

The WIC Vendor Advisory Council (VAC) serves as an open communication channel between the Oregon WIC Program and the state’s WIC-authorized vendors. VAC provides an avenue for gathering issues/information on a broad array of WIC-related subjects that impact vendors.

VAC Contact List

Meetings for 2009 are scheduled for January 19th, April 24th, and October 9th and are held in Portland. Notice: the VAC meeting originally scheduled for July 31st has been cancelled.
