The DHS Office of Information Services (OIS) provides information technology (IT) support that enables DHS and its partners to deliver health and human services to Oregonians.

OIS IT supports human service programs related to benefits, eligibility, licensing, insurance and claims processing, protective services, public health, hospital management, vocational and rehabilitation services, human resources, finance and procurement.

One of the key functions of OIS is managing major DHS systems modernization programs such as:

• The OR-Kids project - Improving services to better protect the safety and welfare of children in Oregon.

• The Child, Adult and Family Division Self-Sufficiency Modernization project - Providing online client services and making case management more efficient.
