We anticipate the needs of users throughout the department and seek to maintain and enhance the department’s fiscal systems to provide optimal service for all users of these systems or of the information they contain
To control, manage and support all technologies, and related changes or enhancements needed to efficiently and effectively administer the fiscal function for DOC in the most cost-effective manner possible.
The Fiscal Services, Financial Systems Support Team is comprised of a team of individuals skilled in accounting, in computer science, and in project management. The Fiscal Tech Team supports the following applications and functions:
AFAMIS – the department’s system for purchasing, inventory control and accounting.
TAG – the department’s system for accounting for all inmate trust activity.
Security Access to Systems – security for both primary accounting systems is maintained by this group.
System Documentation, Backup and Disaster Recovery – the Fiscal Tech Team safeguards the department’s data on these systems and the reliability and availability of these systems.
