CRCI Walk Away Captured
Three hours after he walked away from his work crew, inmate Scottie Lee Jackson was arrested in Woodburn. He was apprehended, without incident, by a Patrol Officer in Woodburn at approximately 2:00 p.m.
 
Jackson walked away from his work crew in Portland at approximately 11:00 a.m. today. He was a member of a minimum-custody 10-man work crew from Columbia River Correctional Facility. He was noted missing by the correctional officer supervising the crew and law enforcement was immediately notified.
 
Jackson allegedly took a City of Portland vehicle to flee the site.
 
Jackson is serving time from Washington County for burglary II, identity theft, possession of a controlled substance, failure to appear and unlawful use of a vehicle.
 
The Oregon State Police are investigating.
