Minimum Custody Inmate Walks Away From Work Crew in Portland
 
Yesterday, an inmate walked away from a Columbia River Correctional Institution minimum-custody work crew near NE 42nd and Ainsworth, in Portland. The inmate, Ricky White, 36, was discovered missing from the work crew at approximately 2:30 p.m.
 
White is described as an African American male, 5' 09" tall, weighing 210 pounds, short black hair, facial hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a navy blue t-shirt and blue denim jeans, both have the word Inmate and the Department of Corrections' seal stenciled on them.
 
White was incarcerated in April 2005 on two counts of Robbery II out of Multnomah County. His projected release date was September 4, 2010.
