Mission Statement
 
To foster a respected and recognized volunteer community of appropriate size and quality that is capable of serving the rehabilitative, religious/spiritual, educational, and other pro-social activity needs of individuals who are incarcerated or undergoing re-entry from incarceration back to the community and provide support to the staff and mission of the department.

Qualification/Process
 
  • Usually 18 years of age or older
  • Good role model
  • Want to make a difference
  • Interview with department staff
  • Complete a training program
  • Fill out an application
  • Pass a background check
  • Attend a two hour facility orientation
