State tax assistance available in Pendleton
03/05/2009
PENDLETON—Northeastern Oregonians with questions about Oregon income tax have resources at the Oregon Department of Revenue's Pendleton field office.

Revenue employees will assist taxpayers in filling out their simple Oregon tax returns, answer questions about Oregon taxes, and provide forms and publications. If you owe taxes, assistance is available to help with making payments and creating payment arrangements.

The Pendleton office, 700 SE Emigrant, Suite 310, across from Till Taylor Park, is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday to Thursday, and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Tax forms and publications also are available at area libraries, but library employees can't answer tax-related questions.

For more information on Oregon income taxes, tax forms and instructions, and to check the status of your refund, visit www.oregon.gov/DOR, or call 1-800-356-4222 toll-free from an Oregon prefix (English or Spanish). For TTY (hearing or speech impaired), call 1-800-886-7204. Because of the volume of calls the department receives during tax season, callers may experience extended waiting times.
