TRANSFERS
 
If you wish to transfer to another position in the same classification, you must submit a State of Oregon Application form (PD100) and submit it to the Human Resources Office by the recruitment closing date.  You must meet any special qualifications of the position.
 
If you wish to transfer or demote from one classification to another in the same or lower salary range, you must submit a State of Oregon Application form (PD100) by the recruitment closing date.  You must meet the minimum and special qualifications of the position.
 
If you wish to transfer to another agency in the same classification or the same or lower salary range, you must contact the specific agency in which you are interested and ask what process the agency will require you to follow to be considered as a lateral or voluntary demotion candidate.  Each agency is different.
 
TO BE CONSIDERED FOR PROMOTION OPPORTUNITIES
 
You must submit an application and/or materials in response to the recruitment announcement.  All recruitment announcements include information about the minimum qualifications that you must meet in order to be considered.  This information is included in the "TO QUALIFY" portion of the announcement.  If you meet the required qualifications, carefully read the "HOW TO APPLY" portion of the announcement which will explain the process you need to follow in order to be considered as a candidate for consideration, including the location for submitting your application.  The MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for consideration and the APPLICATION PROCESS will vary depending on the classification and needs of the position.
