Vacant Land Parcels (40 to 155 acres) - Rangeland & Timberland
Baker, Union, Umatilla and Wallowa Counties
The Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL) is offering land in NE Oregon that did not sell at DSL’s recent auction held in La Grande. Eleven parcels from Baker, Umatilla, Union, and Wallowa Counties are being offered for direct sale.
The unsold parcels are being offered at the appraised value on a first-come, first-served basis (as time/date stamped upon receipt in the Department’s Salem office). No offers will be accepted below the appraised value. As parcels are sold they will be removed from the list of those available for purchase.
Unsold parcels will be available for purchase until 5:00 p.m. on December 31, 2009.
The State Land Board authorized this offering at its April 14, 2009 meeting in Salem. The Board will, at a later date, determine the future action concerning those unsold parcels remaining after December 31, 2009. For further parcel or financing information, call Clara Taylor at (503) 986-5276 or email.

| Auction Results from March 2009 for NE Oregon Parcels |
|
Proceeds from the March 26, 2009 auction are deposited in the agency’s land revolving fund for reinvesting in existing lands and acquiring other lands to produce income for the Common School Fund, a trust fund established at statehood that provides interest earnings twice a year for Oregon’s 198 K-12 public school districts. In 2008, distributions totaled $55.4 million.
