The Department of State Lands Wetlands Program staff promotes the protection and management of Oregon´s wetland resources.
Wetlands staff helps local governments with wetland inventories and planning and helps property owners determine if wetland permits are needed. They also provide wetland delineation expertise (guidance and report review) to local governments, consultants and agencies.
Wetland staff also coordinates research and develops tools to improve the Removal-Fill Permit Program.
