The Finance Committee of the Oregon Economic & Community Development Commission provides project approval and direct oversight for three Economic & Community Development Department business finance programs: 1) Economic Development Revenue Bonds; 2) the Oregon Business Development Fund; and 3) the Ports Revolving Loan Fund. Since the 1980s, the committee members have helped design and implement financial tools—loan funds, credit guarantees and other forms of capital assistance—that support Oregon businesses with resources that would not otherwise be available to them through private sources.
