Core-Mark International truck drivers make local deliveries to convenience stores.  They supply the stores with consumer packaged goods from groceries and retail beverages to general merchandise, and recently dairy.  They operate in 38 states and 5 Canadian Provinces.
The Clackamas location currently has 30 drivers that run the Oregon and Washington territory.  They are always on the look out for candidates who have driving experience, have been long term employees at a previous job, and are used to doing a physically-demanding job.
Russell Woodcock fit that profile!

He was referred to Core-Mark's route driver opening through their iMatchSkills job posting and Human Resource Manager Teresa Loving was interested in interviewing him.
Teresa likes using iMatchSkills.  She says “I can post jobs myself and re-open a closed listing without needing to call anyone.  I get a good pool of quality applicants to consider.”
She was looking for someone with a good driving record and a type A Commercial Driving License (CDL-A).  Even though she preferred heavy truck driving experience, she was willing to consider him as a recent graduate of the International Institute of Transportation Resources (IITR) Truck Driving School.  His previous long term employment as a delivery driver and the physical duties he was used to doing were also good considerations.  Teresa interviewed Russell and liked what she saw.  She made arrangements for him to have a second interview with Charlie Parcher, Transportation Manager.
Charlie agreed with Teresa and decided to hire Russell - just 8 days after he obtained his CDL-A.  Charlie put him in a Core-Mark truck with a trainer for a few weeks to secure a good start to his driving career.
Charlie says “Russell is a perfect salesman for our company.  He is excited and enthusiastic about what he does.  I have had no customer complaints.  He is a perfect employee.”  Charlie says it took Russell about 1 ½ months to get comfortable with all aspects of his route.  Charlie looks forward to partnering with Russell at IITR’s next recruitment offering.  He hopes to find additional employees with Russell’s strong work ethic and commitment.  
Charlie says "For every new hire Russell has recruited, he will receive a cash bonus of $500"
