Dear Friend of the Oregon Commission on Hispanic Affairs
On September 29, 2009, the Oregon State Senate reviewed Governor Ted Kulongoski’s nominees to state boards and commissions. We are proud to announce the following nominations:
- Steve Bender, the James and Ilene Hershner Professor of Law at the University of Oregon Law School, to the Oregon Commission on Hispanic Affairs.
- Dr. Carlos Crespo, Director of the School of Public Health at Portland State University, to the Oregon Health Policy Board. The governor’s office received more than 200 applications for the Health Policy Board positions.
Congratulations to Mr. Bender and Dr. Crespo on their nominations. We thank them for stepping up and working for the community.
