The two-part letter describes House Bill 3546, which extends time for processing Measure 37 claims, and the Measure 37 administrative rules adopted by LCDC in January 2007.
The letter offers general information to local governments that may be of help in interpreting and applying state waivers, and to offer DLCD's continuing assistance to local governments in the implementation of the Measure.
The letter gives guidance to local governments on claims based on property acquisition dates that fall between the adoption of the statewide land use planning goals and the acknowledgment by the Land Conservation and Development Commission of the local comprehensive plan.
