Proposed Disapproval of Oregon’s Nonpoint Pollution Control Program

 

On December 20, 2013, EPA and NOAA announced the opening of a 90-day public comment period on the agencies’ proposal to disapprove the State of Oregon’s coastal nonpoint pollution control program. This is the first proposal to disapprove a state’s coastal nonpoint pollution control program in the country and is the result of a settlement agreement  for a lawsuit filed in Oregon.
