Ombudsman Services
The Office of the Long-Term Care Ombudsman responds to complaints made by or on behalf of the residents of Oregon´s long-term care facilities. All residents, family members, visitors, staff members and other concerned citizens are encouraged to contact us with their complaints and concerns.
All long-term care facilities must post the Ombudsman Program poster listing the name and telephone number of the Certified Ombudsman assigned to that facility as well as the toll-free number of the central office.
Ombudsmen objectively investigate concerns and complaints brought to their attention, then seek solutions that address the concerns of the residents. We attempt to solve problems quickly, within the facilities, in order to best serve the residents.
