August 4, 2017 

The Oregon Health Authority requested the Board of Chiropractic Examiners share the following Administrative Rule Hearing Notice as it affects chiropractic profession.  The proposed rule language follows the two page Hearing Notice.

Last date to provide written comments:  August 18, 2017, 5:00 pm
 

March 23, 2017

1.  The following three rules were amended (Eff 1/1/2018) to allow for fingerprint background checks at licensee’s renewal 
  • 811-010-0084 Fitness Determinations for Licensure; State and Nationwide Criminal Background Checks 
  • 811-010-0086 Annual Registration
  • 811-010-0110 Chiropractic Assistants

2.  The OBCE amended the rule to transition to a birth month renewal for Assistants (Eff 1/1/2018)
  • 811-010-0110 Chiropractic Assistants 
 
3.  The OBCE added a definition of Good Moral Character (Eff 4/21/17)
  • 811-035-0001 Code of Ethics
