Community Development Funding Programs
Brownfields Redevelopment Fund . . . activities ranging from site assessment to cleanup for properties where known or suspected environmental contamination is a barrier to redevelopment. more information

Coalition Brownfields Cleanup Fund . . . assists private persons and local governments to cleanup a brownfields and ready for redevelopment. more information

Community Development Block Grants . . . funding available to non-entitlement cities and counties for a variety of community facilities, public works projects, housing rehabilitation, services to microenterprise and other businesses where the proposed project will primarily benefit low- and moderate-income persons. more information

Competitive Community Assistance . . . downtown redevelopment planning; strategic, economic and community development plans; other planning for economic development activities.

Marine Navigation Improvement Fund . . . provides the matching funds needed for a project that has received funding from the US Army Corps of Engineers; projects that directly support or provides access to a federally authorized navigation improvement project. more information

Port Revolving Fund . . . loans construction and/or improvement of facilities and infrastructure that promote maritime shipping, aviation and commercial activities of ports. more information

Port Planning & Marketing Fund . . . planning and marketing activities to improve a port's trade and commerce capacity. more information

Regional Investment Fund . . . locally controlled funds to help carry out a region's plan for economic and community development. more information

Safe Drinking Water Revolving Loan Fund . . . low-cost financing for construction and/or improvements of public and private water systems. more information

Special Public Works Fund . . . construction and/or improvement of infrastructure needed to support industrial, manufacturing and certain types of commercial development. more information

Renewable Energy Feasibility Fund . . . established to encourage renewable energy projects that reduce Oregon's dependence on fossil-based energy sources and promote sustainable economic development. more information
