SECTION II: COURSEWORK STANDARDS
Resources: 1. Use the transcript, course descriptions or course syllabi from the year(s) you attended. These are obtainable by calling your graduate school. 2. Fill in the class you took under each coursework area on the following list.

Each coursework area must have at least 2 semester or 3 quarter credits.  You must have at least 16 semester or 24 quarter credits of supporting coursework.

The class name from your transcript does not need to "match" the coursework area title, but the content, as described in the college catalog or syllabus, must be compatible with the definitions given.

The coursework area titles and definitions are standard for Professional Counseling Programs and are normative nationwide. Although programs vary from state to state (and sometimes from college to college) these are commonly acceptable basic training areas.
