Limited X-Ray Machine Operator (LXMO) Qualifications
- At Least 18 Years Old.
- Pass Approved Core Module Course.
- Pass Approved Course(s) in Anatomic Area(s).
- Pass OBMI Examinations in Radiation Use and Safety, and Anatomic Area(s).
- Apply for Temporary LXMO Permit & Complete Approved Practical-Experience.

Permit and License Requirements
Every licensee or permittee shall maintain on file with the Board their correct current residence address and name. OAR 337-010-0008.
Expired Oregon Licenses and Limited Permits
An R.T. license which has been expired for more than five years may be reissued only in the manner prescribed for an original license. There are renewal fees and delinquent fees for both Licenses and LXMO Permits. Verification is required of a least 12 clock hours of Continuing Education during expiration period.
