Glenn Taylor, Public Member - Chair, Portland
Glenn Taylor, Public Member, Portland – Glenn Taylor was appointed Board Chair at the December 2009 meeting. He follows Rick Marinelli, ND, LAc, who served as chair for 3 years and representative to the formulary Council since 2003.
Glenn earned his masters in financial services in 1986, and has worked in the not-for-profit arena for many years. His interest in naturopathic medicine began during his employment with the National College of Natural Medicine from 1996 to 2004. He is currently Operations Manager with Saturday Academy, which provides enrichment classes for students in grade two through twelve.
Glenn has been a Portland resident since 1975 and lives in Southeast Portland with his wife, where they have raised three boys and are the proud grandparents of their first three grandchildren. Besides serving on many governmental and community boards, he is the founder and president of Encore Brass, the longest running brass ensemble in Oregon.
He looks forward to working with the dedicated naturopathic physicians and public members who give of their time and expertise to guide the profession.
