  • Oregon livestock producers to be on the alert for Foot and Mouth Disease

    During the past few weeks there have been outbreaks of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) in South Korea and Vietnam. The current outbreak in South Korea is most severe and has spread rapidly, causing immense economic damage. Significant disease control measures are being taken and livestock movement has been greatly limited to slow the spread. In the United States and Oregon, we have upgraded our awareness and are on the alert. We provide this information to make sure you have accurate information.
