Lisa Charpilloz HansonLisa Charpilloz Hanson brings more than two decades of leadership, policy direction, and program administration to the role of Director at the Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA). Before her appointment by Governor Tina Kotek in October 2023, she served as Director of the Oregon Watershed Enhancement Board (OWEB).

After several years and promotions, she served as Deputy Director at ODA for nearly 16 years before leaving to lead OWEB.

Service to her community has always been a big part of Charpilloz Hanson's personal and professional life. She is recognized nationally for accomplishments and leadership, including the National Association State Departments of Agriculture James Graham Outstanding Service to Agriculture Award, Oregon Farm Bureau Service to Agriculture Award, the 2011 Linn Benton Community College Distinguished Alumni Recognition, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Group Honor Award of Excellence for work on nationwide practices for the USDA, helping establish inspection programs at the national level as well as serving as past Director for the American Hampshire Sheep Association.
