New Produce Legislation

PRODUCE DEALER LICENSE IS NO LONGER REQUIRED

As of July 1, 2013, licenses and bonds for Produce Dealers will no longer be required in the State of Oregon. This includes license types: Cash Buyers, Retail Produce Peddlers, and Wholesale Produce Dealers as defined by ORS 585.010 through ORS 585.220. On May 9, 2013, Governor Kitzhaber signed a bill repealing these statutes. The effective date for this change is July 1, 2013, which coincides with the date a new license would have been required.
