Registrants have new option for label submission

In the past, ODA Pesticides Program has required pesticide registrants to submit all new and revised product labels in paper form. For 2011 registrations, we are offering a new option of accepting PDF files of certain labels uploaded to our website. That website, in pilot phase, is now active.

To access this site, go to:
and click on the "Upload labels (companies only)" link. Only pesticide registrant companies can access the system using their unique license number and email address.

Registrants will have two choices as to the format for labels submitted for Oregon registration: 1. Paper format (three copies of the product label plus one copy of the EPA stamped-approved label) or 2. Upload of PDF labels (product label plus EPA stamped-approved label) to the ODA website via the link above. ODA will not accept CD's, emails, or uploads to other websites, like KRS or ALSTAR, to satisfy the registration requirements in Oregon. Please note that at this time only revised labels for already registered products are allowed for electronic upload. New products will have to go through the paper-based registration process until our system moves out of pilot phase. Also, registrants who have previously submitted product labels using the paper-based process do not need to upload the same label electronically.

Soon pesticide users in Oregon will be able to access PDF labels that have been uploaded by registrants to our website. The access will be through our registration search page. Please note that only labels that have been uploaded electronically will be available for viewing. Paper labels will not be accessible (ODA is not going to scan and upload the paper labels).

We hope you will find this system useful and easy to use. We will be trying to gather feedback to improve the system. If you are a registrant, you will be asked for feedback after you log out. As a pesticide user, you probably will not see any difference in our website until we receive some product label uploads to the system. If you have any suggestions or comments, please feel free to send an email to pestx@oda.state.or.us
