The Nursery and Christmas Tree Program protects Oregon's nursery and Christmas tree industries from the introduction and spread of plant pests, disease, and noxious weeds.

Virtual Town Hall, February 20th, 2026

The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) invites you to attend a virtual town hall meeting to discuss the history and current status of Japanese beetle in Oregon. This session will provide an overview of current requirements and recent updates. A question-and-answer session will follow the presentation.

  • Landscapers who grow nursery stock
  • Retail nurseries 
  • Retail establishments that also sell plants
  • Farmers market plant vendors
  • Online plant sellers
  • Plant sale groups
