Goal: Create a greater understanding of the Board of Forestry’s authority, roles, responsibilities, and relationships regarding pesticide policy.   Provide information to ensure that the Board understands:
• the legal and policy framework for developing forest pesticide policy, and the intent of the policies;
• State of Oregon strategies for interagency coordination, policy implementation, monitoring, priority setting, and responding to issues;
• how agencies identify and address gaps in policy and policy implementation; and
• how pesticide policy relates to the Clean Water Act and overall Oregon toxic reduction strategy.
