Corporate Closure Information
“Many of the State Fire Regulations have been dropped with the end of fire season in some areas.  Landowners, as is their right, still may require prevention measures, activity limitations or access closures.  Thank you for your compliance with their policies”

Private land closure information is supplied during fire season by private landowners and the Oregon Forest Industries Council (OFIC). The rationale that reflect land and access closures that landowners have in place for various reasons that are beyond those restrictions in place by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) may be found here.

On behalf of the Oregon Forest Industries Council (OFIC) and our participating members of the Corporate Closures Information, we thank the public for their understanding and support of using access restrictions to their timberlands as a Prevention tool when necessary.  Oregon experienced a significant, costly and damaging fire season in 2013.  Preventing even just one accidental human caused fire under these extreme conditions is our goal.  We appreciate your cooperation in protecting these resources and the habitat they provide to Oregon’s wildlife and recreational opportunities.
