Private land closure information is supplied during fire season by private landowners and the Oregon Forest Industries Council (OFIC). The rationale that reflect land and access closures that landowners have in place for various reasons that are beyond those restrictions in place by the Oregon Department of Forestry (ODF) may be found here.   

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in the fall of 2012 as severe fire danger conditions warranted unprecedented public access closures on private lands. It was a very successful effort that significantly reduced the number of fires, protecting our resources and wildlife habitat.

Closure information will again be available at the beginning of fire season 2013 (around July 01).
