The North Cascade District Office at Lyons
The North Cascade District  manages the 47,000-acre Santiam State Forest near Lyons, east of Salem.
 
Call the district for recreation information.
 
Firewood Cutting:  The North Cascade District issues wood-cutting permits for personal use only.  Call the recorded message line at 503-859-4338 to find out if permits are available.
