Smokey Bear visits a local classroom
North Cascade District employees are serious about fire revention, taking Smokey Bear programs to local schools and hosting Smokey Bear Day at PGE Park. They also sponsor wildfire prevention poster contests, attend prevention conferences, and staff booths at sportsman’s shows, Tree School, State Parks, state and county fairs, and the Molalla Buckeroo Rodeo, as well as set up Firewise landscaping displays at area nurseries.
