Volunteering in the Forest
A Great Way to Give Back
Each year, private citizens donate thousands of hours of volunteer time in the Tillamook State Forest through a variety of programs hosted by the Oregon Department of Forestry.  You are invited to come out and build trail, host at a campground, or act as a recreation ambassador for your favorite activity. Just browse through our volunteer program catalogue, with so many opportunities to choose from, there’s sure to be something for everyone!

Camp Hosts welcome visitors to forest campgrounds.         Trail Patrollers act as ambassadors promoting responsible recreation.
