The Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will meet on Friday, Jan. 30 at the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol St NE, Room 122 (first floor) in Salem. The meeting runs from 9:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
The committee will hear about school siting and transportation issues, the Bicycle Transportation Alliance’s legislative agenda, a proposed reroute of the Oregon Coast Bike Route in Lincoln County and the Oregon Scenic Bikeway program. The committee will also review a position letter on cell phone use while driving. A public comment period is scheduled for noon.
