Advisory Committee on DUII to meet Nov. 2 in Salem

SALEM The Governor’s Advisory Committee on DUII will meet at 9 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 2 at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training building, 4190 Aumsville Highway SE in Salem. The agenda includes a 2013 grants update, a discussion with Representative Jim Thompson about Oregon’s DUII system, and reports from several liaison agencies.
 
The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants is tasked with helping raise awareness of the dangers of DUII and getting communities more involved in reducing DUII. The group’s meeting is open to the public. Accommodations will be provided to persons with disabilities, and alternate formats of printed material are available upon request. Please call (503) 986-4188 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting (statewide relay 7-1-1).
 
The next meeting of the GAC-DUII is scheduled for Dec. 7 in Salem.
