Transportation Commission to meet in Salem Nov. 20

The Oregon Transportation Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting on Nov. 20 in the Gail L. Achterman Conference Room of the Transportation Building, 355 Capitol Street N.E., in Salem.
The regular monthly meeting will begin at 10 a.m. Items on the commission agenda include:
  • A report on a strategic plan to modernize the computer systems of the Driver and Motor Vehicle Service Division;
  • A presentation from the Port of Portland concerning the ConnectOregon IV Terminal 6 Wharf Optimization Project;
  • An informational presentation from Oregon Travel Information Council Chair Gwenn Baldwin and Oregon Travel Experience’s CEO Kyle Walker;
  • A recommendation on the unsolicited proposal of RPS Development Company for the Interstate 5 Keubler Interchange;
  • A discussion and presentation concerning the process and timeline for developing the 2017 – 2020 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program; and
  • A request to approve distribution of $5 million in General Funds appropriated to the Elderly and Disabled Special Transportation Fund program.
 
Meetings of the OTC are open to the public and time will be available to hear public comments.
