DMV closes some offices due to weather

Many offices are open, but some have canceled drive tests or require traction devices.
Because of hazardous road conditions in many areas throughout Oregon, DMV has closed some of its 60 field offices and canceled drive tests at some other offices on Friday.
Even if your local DMV office is open, DMV suggests that people check their local road conditions and consider delaying their travel plans because of continuing weather hazards. For ODOT’s most up-to-date highway travel information, visit www.tripcheck.com.

The following DMV offices are affected by Friday’s weather conditions:
  • Beaverton – CLOSEDD
  • Downtown Portland – CLOSED
  • Gladstone – CLOSED
  • Gresham – CLOSED
  • Hillsboro – CLOSED
  • Lake Oswego – CLOSED
  • North Portland – CLOSED
  • Northeast Portland – CLOSED
  • Sherwood – CLOSED
  • Southeast Portland – CLOSED
  • Sandy – will open late once employees are able to arrive
  • Albany – no drive tests today
  • Astoria – no drive testsBend – traction tires required on all Class C drives/CDL drives canceled
  • Corvallis – no drives / office will close for lunch 12:00-1:30
  • Cottage Grove – no drive tests todayDallas – no drive tests today
  • Eugene – no drive tests today
  • Hood River – no drive tests today
  • Junction City – CLOSED
  • Klamath Falls – traction tires or devices required for drive tests
  • Lakeview – traction tires or devices required for drive tests
  • Lebanon – no drive tests today / office will close for lunch from 12:00PM – 1:30PM
  • Lincoln City – CLOSED
  • Madras – no drive tests today
  • McMinnville – no drive tests today
  • Newport – CLOSED
  • Prineville – no am drive tests, will reassess for the afternoon
  • Redmond – no drive tests today
  • Saint Helens – no drive tests today
  • Salem (North Salem) – no drive tests today
  • Salem (South Salem) – no drive tests today
  • Springfield – no drive tests today
  • Stayton – CLOSED
  • The Dalles – no drive tests today
  • Woodburn – no drive tests today
