Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety to meet March 20 in Salem

The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety will meet at 4 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at the Oregon Department of Transportation’s Transportation Safety Division Office at 4040 Fairview Industrial Drive SE in Salem.
 
Agenda items include discussions about strategic planning and updates to the second edition of the Oregon motorcycle map among other items.
 
The Governor’s Advisory Committee on Motorcycle Safety is charged with the responsibility to advise the Governor and the ODOT’s Transportation Safety Division regarding motorcycle safety. The committee reviews, proposes, and makes recommendations concerning motorcycle-related legislation as well as serving as a public forum for motorcyclists and promoting motorcycle safety to the public.
