Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee to meet April 22 in Portland

The Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Oregon Department of Transportation Region 1 Building, 123 NW Flanders in Portland. Agenda items include a request for concurrence on criteria changes for projects in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), and a presentation on rumble strips.
 
Those who wish to provide comments during the meeting are encouraged to sign up on the public comment sheet provided at the meeting. General guidelines: provide written summaries when possible and limit comments to 3 minutes. If you bring written summaries or other materials to the meeting, please provide the chairperson with a copy prior to your testimony.
 
After the meeting, committee members and guests are welcome to attend the second day of the Active Transportation Summit. Registration information is available online, http://oat-summit.com/registration.html. The registration deadline is April 15.
