Bicycle/Pedestrian Committee to meet April 22 in Portland

The Oregon Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will hold its next meeting from 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. at the Oregon Department of Transportation Region 1 Building, 123 NW Flanders in Portland. Agenda items include a request for concurrence on criteria changes for projects in the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), and a presentation on rumble strips.
Those who wish to provide comments during the meeting are encouraged to sign up on the public comment sheet provided at the meeting. General guidelines: provide written summaries when possible and limit comments to 3 minutes. If you bring written summaries or other materials to the meeting, please provide the chairperson with a copy prior to your testimony.
After the meeting, committee members and guests are welcome to attend the second day of the Active Transportation Summit. Registration information is available online. The registration deadline is April 15, 2014.
