Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee to meet

The Oregon Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, Feb. 21, 2008, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Natural Resource Building, 3415 Commercial St. SE, in Salem.
The committee will hear presentations on a proposed change to Oregon Administrative Rules regarding temporary passes, Siskiyou Pass snow and ice issues and a recent household goods enforcement exercise. In addition, there will be an update on mobility issues.
Gregg Dal Ponte, Motor Carrier Transportation Division administrator, will facilitate the meeting. The committee is made up of representatives from the Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon State Police, the trucking industry and related industries.
