The Oregon Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, Jan.
15, 2009, at 8:30 a.m. at the Natural Resource Building, 3415 Commercial St. SE, in
Salem.
The committee will hear presentations on recent changes to pilot car requirements;
OAR Chapter 734, Division 78 on rear overhang changes; legislative concepts; Unified
Carrier Registration enforcement; and other topics.
Gayle Green, Motor Carrier Audit Program manager, will facilitate the meeting. The
committee is made up of representatives from the Oregon Department of
Transportation, Oregon State Police, the trucking industry and related industries.
Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee meetings are open to the public.
