The Oregon Motor Carrier Transportation Advisory Committee will meet Thursday, May 21, at 8:30 a.m. at the Natural Resource Center, 3415 Commercial St. SE in Salem.
The committee will hear updates from DMV on the medical waivers program for commercial driver licenses and background checks for hazardous materials endorsements. The committee will also hear reports on statewide mobility, pending legislation and other topics.
Gayle Green, Motor Carrier Audit Program manager, will facilitate the meeting. The committee is made up of representatives from the Oregon Department of Transportation, Oregon State Police, the trucking industry and related industries.
