The DMV Driver & Vehicle Mainframe Systems
|
|
Information Systems Branch supports the software that issues driver licenses.
We record license data, citations, accidents, suspensions, and other safety related information.
The data is safely stored and made available to officials.

Traffic Management Operation Centers
|
|
Information Systems Branch provides communication and information systems support for ODOT's regional Traffic Management Operations Centers.
TMOCs operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week to dispatch crews, help clear roads, and provide timely information to keep traffic moving safely.

TripCheck
|
|
TripCheck is run by Information Systems Branch. It's a one-stop-shop for information on traveling in Oregon.
With the latest conditions via road camera, continuous travel updates, highway construction details, and other valuable tips, TripCheck gets you to and from your favorite places in Oregon.

Bridge Structural Applications
|
|
Information Systems Branch supports the software which structural engineers use to design bridges.

Geographic Information Systems
|
|
Support for GIS applications is provided by ISB. GIS not only maps land and roads, but also animal habitats, and archeological sites.
The Information Services Branch helps the GIS team organize its digital information.

Intelligent Transportation Systems
|
|
Intelligent Transportation Systems include cameras, ramp meters, weather stations, flood and wind warning systems, and highway advisory radio.
Information Systems Branch develops and supports ITS.

Trucking Online
|
|
With the help of the Information System Branch, trucks are now being weighed while moving, using radios and scales built into the road.
Weight and mileage taxes, as well as truck passes and permits, are tracked by ISB. ISB developed the system for paying these taxes online.

Information Service Branch helps Traffic Engineering with the applications they use for designing streets and highways.

ODOT Receives OSU's Distinguished Business Partner AwardOn May 7th, Virginia Ellwanger, on behalf of ODOT, accepted an award from Oregon State University for being a Distinguished Business Partner.
