Program Overview
ITS is the application of advanced technology to address transportation problems. ITS makes use of advanced communication and computer technology to address these problems and enhance the movement of people, goods and services. The ITS unit is responsible for the statewide ITS program. Members of ODOT's ITS Unit work with various ODOT departments, Region personnel and Maintenance staff to plan and deploy these beneficial technologies.
