 CDL Haz Mat Endorsement
These rules implement Chapter 395, Oregon Laws 2009 to make certain that Oregon’s commercial driver license (CDL) program is in compliance with federal regulations.

 Limited Term Driver License / Permit / ID Card
On January 1, 2010 DMV will begin issuance or renewal of a limited term driver license, limited term driver permit or limited term ID card if the applicant is in the US on a temporary basis.

 Proof of School Attendance and Waiver of Reinstatement Fee
DMV will waive the reinstatement fee when driving privileges are suspended for non-attendance at school if the person can show that he or she has graduated from high school or received a GED certificate at the time of reinstating driving privileges.

 Hardship or Probationary Permit Restrictions
This amendment adds a new offense – aggravated driving while suspended or revoked – to the kinds of convictions that result in revocation of driving privileges as an habitual offender.

 Renewal of a Disabled Person Parking Permit
DMV will require a renewal application for a disabled person parking permit to include a certificate signed by a licensed health care provider that the person qualifies for the permit.

This amendment describes the process for rescheduling an implied consent hearing when a police officer is unable to appear at the hearing.

 Limited Vision (Bioptic) Program
To qualify for driving privileges, a person with a limited vision condition must meet certain requirements, including a drive test and vision examination every two years.

Specifies what manufacturers must do regarding a vehicle title when they are required to replace a vehicle or refund the full price to a consumer.

 Registration Plate Fees - Temporary rule
Chapter 865, Oregon Laws 2009 establishes new fee amounts for registration plates. Based on those calculations, the fee will be $12 for a single plate and $23 for a pair of plates.

 Oregon Dealer Advisory Committee Member Notification - Temporary rule
Clarifies that DMV will consult with ODAC before taking immediate disciplinary action against a dealer who is jeopardizing the public health and safety.

 Honorary Consular Corps Registration Plates - Temporary rule
Implements Chapter 621, OL 2009; DMV to issue consular corps plates and will collect surcharge for non-profit group plates in an amount specified by the group.

 U.S. Standards for Vehicle Safety and Emissions

 Determination of Ownership for Financial Responsibility Purposes
