| Disabled Veteran Registration Plates |
| DMV will accept as proof that an applicant is qualified to receive disabled veteran registration, any letter, including a DD214 form, issued by the VA or branch of the U.S. Armed Forces that indicates the applicant received a service-related disability, regardless of whether the letter specifically shows an honorable discharge. |

| DMV removed the requirement that an Implied Consent form contain “a suspension period that conforms to the type of suspension in accordance with ORS 813.404 or 813.420.” DMV enters a suspension on a record even if the form does not indicate the length of suspension. |

| Class IV ATVs |
| Qualified Oregon vehicle dealers that sell snowmobiles, or Class I and Class III all-terrain vehicles are designated as agents of DMV. These amendments add the new Class IV all-terrain vehicles. Subsection (4)(f) is also amended to clarify that a vehicle dealer may only prepare and/or submit documents and collect fees for transfers of registration plates for vehicles they sell. |
