Highlights
2008 Statewide Local Agency Project Delivery Conference
Coming May 15-16 the "Statewide Local Agency Project Delivery Conference" will be held at the Riverhouse Conference Center in Bend. The conference goals include providing a clear overview of slected aspects of the ODOT project delivery requirements on federal-aid projects and fostering federal-aid project delivery process discussions for mutal benefit. Value Engineering Workshop
On May 19-23, 2008 ODOT is sponsoring National Highway Institute's "Value Engineering Workshop." This workshop provides the participant with the skills necessary to successfully participate in future value studies on highway projects. A course description is on the next page of this letter.
CONSULTANT QUALIFICATION FOR BIOLOGICAL ASSESSMENT DELIVERABLES
The two-day BA Certification training will be held June 3 and 4, 2008 from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Consultants previously certified by ODOT are not required to attend training on June 3 but do need to attend training on June 4.

Technology Transfer (T2) Center
The Technology Transfer (T2) Center is jointly sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), the Counties and Cities of Oregon, and the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT). FHWA funds are provided through the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP).
