Appointments

This office does not offer drive tests.
  • You will need an appointment for a drive test at a different office. 
  • Use DMV2U to make an appointment.
  • You can change or cancel your appointment.
  • If appointments are full, check back after 5pm on Mondays.

Inclement Weather

All mailed-in transactions should be sent to DMV Headquarters.  Please do not send them to this office.

Going South

  • From southbound I-5, take the Kruse Way/OR-217 exit (Exit 292).
  • At the end of the off-ramp, turn LEFT (east) on Kruse Way towards Lake Oswego.
  • Turn LEFT (north) on Boones Ferry Rd (Kruse Way dead-ends at Boones Ferry Rd).
  • Continue straight on Boones Ferry Rd past Country Club Rd.
  • Boones Ferry Rd narrows from 4 lanes to 2.
  • Turn LEFT (west) on Monroe Pkwy and then RIGHT into the shopping center.
  • The DMV office is located on the left-hand side between Sport Clips and Lake Oswego Dental.
  • There is limited or no parking for oversized vehicles and vehicle combinations.


Going North

  • From northbound I-5, take the Lake Oswego/Durham exit (Exit 290).
  • At the end of the off-ramp, turn RIGHT (east) on Lower Boones Ferry Rd towards Lake Oswego.
  • Continue straight on Boones Ferry Rd past Country Club Rd.
  • Boones Ferry Rd narrows from 4 lanes to 2.
  • Turn LEFT (west) on Monroe Pkwy and then RIGHT into the shopping center.
  • The DMV office is located on the left-hand side between Sport Clips and Lake Oswego Dental.
  • There is limited or no parking for oversized vehicles and vehicle combinations.


Going East

  • Head east on Lower Boones Ferry Rd from the Bridgeport Village Shopping Center.
  • Lower Boones Ferry Rd gradually turns north and becomes Boones Ferry Rd.
  • Continue straight on Boones Ferry Rd past Kruse Way and then Country Club Rd.
  • Boones Ferry Rd narrows from 4 lanes to 2.
  • Turn LEFT (west) on Monroe Pkwy and then RIGHT into the shopping center.
  • The DMV office is located on the left-hand side between Sport Clips and Lake Oswego Dental.
  • There is limited or no parking for oversized vehicles and vehicle combinations.


Going West

  • Head west on Boones Ferry Rd from the Tryon Creek State Park.
    Boones Ferry Rd gradually turns south.
  • Turn RIGHT (west) on Monroe Pkwy and then RIGHT into the shopping center.
  • The DMV office is located on the left-hand side between Sport Clips and Lake Oswego Dental.
  • There is limited or no parking for oversized vehicles and vehicle combinations.

This office accepts cash, checks, debit cards, mobile payments, Discover, Master Card and Visa for payment.​
