The Lake Oswego DMV will be closed Thursday and Friday, Oct. 25 and 26, so that the office can move to a new and updated location within the Oswego Towne Square.

 

The DMV office will reopen Monday, Oct. 29, in its new location, 3 Monroe Parkway, Suite D. Office hours will remain the same: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, except opening at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays.

The Lake Oswego DMV office has been in the Oswego Towne Square for about 25 years. The property owners recently asked DMV to relocate within the mall to accommodate updates to the mall. The mall paid for DMV’s move.

The timing was good for DMV because the office’s furnishings and interior were due for replacement or repair, and the space was getting crowded after 25 years of population growth in the surrounding community. The new location includes updated furnishings and a larger lobby area for customers.

DMV recommends that people first check www.OregonDMV.com before visiting an office in person. Customers can complete some DMV business online or find out how to make their visit as efficient as possible.
