A five-day remodeling project at the Ashland DMV will require the office to close on two days it is normally open for business.

 

The Ashland office’s hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with the office closed on Mondays and weekends. The building owner scheduled the remodeling project to start Saturday, June 23, so the work will require closure on Tuesday, June 26 and Wednesday, June 27.

 

DMV plans to reopen the office, which is located at 600 Tolman Creek Road, for its normal 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. hours on Thursday, June 28.

 

In addition to the remodeling closure, this year’s July 4 holiday falls on Wednesday of the following week. Ashland-area customers may wish to schedule their visit to DMV before the closure or after the holiday to avoid longer lines during this two week period.

 

DMV recommends people first check http://www.oregondmv.com/ if they need DMV services. Customers can complete some DMV business online or find out how to prepare and make their visit as efficient as possible. They also can find locations and business hours of all DMV offices on the website.
